Josh and Sarah are celebrating 5 years of marriage! We went out to take some photo’s on the hills, and even though the weather was challenging we came out with some really beautiful moments captured. I hope you enjoy them. :)
Ariel and I really love these two and so it was such a privilege to be able to celebrate their recent engagement with a photo session at the beautiful Cunningham house.
I hope you enjoy these pictures and we look forward to their wedding in November!
So proud of these two. We went out to take some maternity / anniversary photos and wanted to shoot in some native wetland areas. In two months Luke and Sharnee will be welcoming a baby boy into the world! So with that in mind we went out to capture this precious season of life and celebrate their ongoing romance and love for one another.
Anja lived and studied in Dunedin for a few years before she moved home to Germany and met Chris. They wanted to come back and have a New Zealand wedding with friends in Tekapo.
Their ceremony was at the famous Church Of The Good Shepherd on the lake, (where Chris had been on holiday with his parents 25 years ago to the date!) After the ceremony Chris surprised Anja with a helicopter ride to the hills! Following an afternoon tea reception at the Astro Cafe, they finished the day with friends at their magnificent accommodation ‘Isolation Bay’ in a tranquil spot along the lake.
I’m really thrilled to share with you some of my favourite images from this beautiful & scenic wedding. I hope you enjoy them :)
A walk through the gardens provided us some beautiful autumn colours. Congratulations Julia & Courtney, I look forward to your wedding in September!
Vanilla Tillman has started up a wedding floristry business called VioletsAreBlueCo - Check it out!
Here are some pictures showcasing her work with our talented friends Caitlyn Templeman and Tom Hardy.
Brendan proposed at New Years Eve and I offered some engagement photos with their wedding coming up. Brendan and Lucy live rurally and love the mountains, Castle Hill is a special place for them so it became our plan to shoot their engagement photos here. We wanted to keep the session enjoyable and relaxing, so we brought a few beers and had a few pit-stops to enjoy the scenery.
Thanks for having me guys and enjoy the wedding planning!
Quentin and Jeanelle are friends from church, it was such a privilege to be asked to capture their day. Both the ceremony and a short afternoon tea were held at the church, South City C3. As devoted Christians, the first thing they wanted to do as a married couple was to take communion. You can see the pastors praying for them in some of the photos. When we got to the botanic gardens the first thing they wanted to do is sit down and pray, thanking God for the beautiful and significant day that it was. These two were so much fun the first image summarises their dynamic.
All the best guys and I bless your beautiful marriage for many years to come!
This weekend was really special. I was approached by my friend Vanilla Tillman at violetsareblueco to do a maternity shoot to showcase her flower crowns. She had organised her cousin and niece to be her talent, and while she was organising it she cheekily suggested to Kristan that it would be a great opportunity to propose! Kris [being the man!] seized the opportunity. He called Jemma’s dad and asked for his blessing, and then went and bought a ring!
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
What a perfect day for a wedding in the beautiful Kaituna Valley! Here are a few highlights from our shoot :)
